Job's Daughters has a very rich heritage and tradition. The group was founded in 1920 to provide an opportunity for young women to work together, to learn about themselves and to help others in their community.
Job's Dasughters is open to any young woman aged 10 to 20 who have a Masonic Heritage. We do not follow any specific religion, but we do require that our members have a belief in a Supreme Being.
Our Order was established in 1920 by Mrs. Ethel T. Wead Mick in Omaha Nebraska. We take our name from the Book of Job and particularly to a reference in the 42nd Chapter:" And in all the land were no women found so fair as the Daughters of Job".
To be a member of Job's Daughters is to be a part of a group that promotes friendship among young women and confidence in themselves. As a member you will learn life skills.
Job's Daughters are descendents of Master Masons, who also have a long and rich history of promoting goodwill toward others and organizing charitable and public service projects within their communities. .

We're about fun.
Throughout the year Job's Daughters plan a lot of fun activities. Maybe it's a day at the beach. Or getting together for a day of shopping. Maybe it's an afternoon learning a new craft or skill together. A sleep-over or camping trip? Sure! Whatever it is, the girls in the Bethel plan, organize and execute their activities together as a group. The Bethel Council members and parents are there to lend advice and a helping hand, but for the most part activities are planned and promoted by the girls themselves.
Do you like to help others?
We're about helping .
Job's Daughters serve an important role in their community. Such as visiting hospitals, or helping senior citizens by giving companionship to those who are lonely or sad. We organize and join food drives for the poor. You will see fellow Job's Daughters serving meals in local shelters.
Bethels will adopt companies of our military forces who are far away from home and serving in remote locations, and ship them regular 'care packages' to let them know they're not forgotton and their sacrifices are appreciated back here at home.
